  • 1/22/19 Supports a private Catholic high school student who was filmed facing down a elderly Native American activist on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C. while wearing a "Make America Great Again" hat. (CBS)
  • 1/24/19 Defends his Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross's comments that furloughed and unpaid federal workers should take out loans to pay for groceries, saying "Local people know who they are when they go for groceries and everything else.   • 1/25/19 Longtime Trump aide and confidant Roger Stone is arrested in an early morning FBI raid and indicted on 7 charges, including lying to Congress, witness intimidation, and obstructing the House Intelligence Committee's investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 election.   • 1/25/19 Is reported that a Trump administration official named Carl Kline granted Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner top-level security clearance after Kushner was denied twice for fears of undue influence by foreign business and government entities.   • 1/27/19 Minutes after a Fox News segment that stated erroneous voter fraud numbers, Trump tweets the exact numbers: "58,000 non-citizens voted in Texas, with 95,000 non-citizens registered to vote. These numbers are just the tip of the iceberg. All over the country, especially in California, voter fraud is rampant. Must be stopped.   • 1/29/19 Is reported that in November 2018, Trump met with Putin at the G20 Summit in Argentina without a U.S. official present to take notes, making the exchange completely off the record. Trump also met with Putin in this manner in July 2017 in Germany. (Vox)
  • 1/31/19 Sarcastically denies climate change in a tweet: "In the beautiful Midwest, windchill temperatures are reaching minus 60 degrees, the coldest ever recorded.
